Spirit of Life's Faith Community Nurse Ministry is a natural outgrowth of its heart for the community. As our healthcare system changes often and becomes more and more complicated, a faith community nurse can become a resource. A faith community nurse is a certified RN with a valid license who has also been trained through the Faith Community Nurse program.
A Faith Community Nurse can assist in the following ways: Teaching health classes and education programs Helping to coordinate care with other trained volunteers Serving as a resource person for the healthcare continuum Making hospital and home visits Coordinating support groups Assist the church with various trainings, such as CPR, First Aid
